Prayer of Salvation

1. Acknowledging the Need for Salvation

Scripture:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I cannot save myself, and I repent of all my sins.

Declaration:
I declare that I am no longer under the bondage of sin. I have recognized my need for a Savior.

2. Believing in Jesus Christ

Scripture:
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” – Acts 16:31

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that You died for my sins and rose again for my justification. I trust in Your finished work on the cross.

Declaration:
I declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I believe in His death, burial, and resurrection. My faith is alive in Him!

3. Confessing Jesus as Lord

Scripture:
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Prayer:
Jesus, I confess You as the Lord of my life. Take full control of my heart, mind, and soul.

Declaration:
I declare with boldness that Jesus is my Lord. My past is forgiven, and I walk in newness of life.

4. Receiving the Gift of Eternal Life

Scripture:
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for the gift of eternal life through Your Son. I receive it with joy and gratitude.

Declaration:
I declare that I have passed from death to life. Eternal life is now my portion through Christ Jesus!

5. Becoming a New Creation

Scripture:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Prayer:
Lord, transform me completely. Let my life reflect Your righteousness and truth.

Declaration:
I declare that I am a new creation. Old things are passed away; all things are made new in Christ.

6. Invitation for the Holy Spirit

Scripture:
“Repent and be baptized… and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” – Acts 2:38

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, come and dwell in me. Lead me into all truth and empower me to live for Jesus.

Declaration:
I declare that I am filled with the Holy Spirit. I walk in power, wisdom, and boldness for the Lord.

7. Assurance of Salvation

Scripture:
“Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” – 1 John 5:12

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for saving me. Let nothing separate me from Your love. Keep me grounded in faith till the end.

Declaration:
I declare that my salvation is secure in Christ. I belong to God, and nothing shall pluck me from His hand.
