A Prayer of Declaration for 2025 Lazarus (In the Power of the Spirit)

As we step into 2025, we declare victory, restoration, and new life in the power of the Spirit. Just as Jesus stood before the tomb of Lazarus and commanded life to return, we proclaim that every dead situation in our lives will come alive again. In Luke 4:14, the Bible says, “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” This year, we walk in the power of the Spirit, expecting the miraculous.

Declaring the Power of the Spirit Over 2025

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of a new year. We stand upon Your Word, declaring that 2025 will be a year of divine breakthroughs, restoration, and supernatural encounters. Just as Lazarus was raised from the dead, we declare that every dormant gift, abandoned vision, and lost opportunity shall be revived in Jesus’ name.

Luke 4:18-19 declares:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Lord, we receive this Word as our declaration for 2025. We decree that we shall walk in divine anointing, spreading Your love and power wherever we go. We shall preach the gospel, heal the brokenhearted, and bring deliverance to those in bondage.

Declaring Revival and Restoration

Father, just as Jesus commanded Lazarus to come forth (John 11:43), we declare that every good thing in our lives that seemed dead shall come forth! Our finances, health, relationships, and spiritual fire shall rise in the power of the Spirit.

  • Revival in Our Spiritual Lives: We declare an awakening in our prayer life, worship, and devotion. Holy Spirit, breathe upon us afresh! (Ezekiel 37:5)
  • Restoration of Lost Opportunities: Just as Lazarus was given another chance at life, we reclaim every missed opportunity and delayed blessing. (Joel 2:25-26)
  • Healing and Wholeness: We speak divine health into our bodies and minds. Every sickness and disease must bow to the name of Jesus. (Isaiah 53:5)

Walking in the Power of the Spirit

Jesus entered Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and His fame spread everywhere (Luke 4:14). This year, we declare that we will not walk in our own strength but in the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • Power to Overcome Challenges: We declare that no obstacle will hinder us. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6)
  • Power to Fulfill Purpose: We step into our divine assignments with boldness. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
  • Power to Walk in Favor: We decree supernatural favor in our careers, businesses, and ministries. “For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)

Conclusion: A Year of Power and Glory

As we step into 2025, we are not walking in fear or uncertainty but in the power of the Spirit. Just as Jesus transformed situations by His Word, we declare that our words shall shape our destiny. Lazarus came forth at the command of Christ, and we too shall arise into a year of victory, purpose, and divine fulfillment.

May the power of the Spirit lead us, guide us, and elevate us into all that God has prepared for us in 2025. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
