DIVINE HEDGE FOR LEADERSHIP (PRAYER ESSENTIAL)

PRAYER… (Pray lest ye fall into temptation Matt 26:41-42)

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 2:1-4)

INSPIRATION
Prayer keep us in constant focus and in alignment of God’s will. Can you imagine that, if you are genuinely interceding, it does not give room to other things. It keeps you in the spirit and gratifying the flesh becomes very difficult. Why do you think the Bible stresses on prayer to be one powerful tool for our deliverance? 2 Timothy 2:1 urges us to pray for kings and all that are in authority. Prayer and intercession is the only thing that God can look upon to deliver leadership from error.

One bad decision can plunge an entire economy and populace into hardship which has the tendency of removing the divine hedge of protection from kings and leaders. The divine hedge is to take good decisions and sound policies to bring deliverance to people. Once that essence is lost, there is absolutely no need of keeping the hedge around leadership. Bad decisions resulting in bad outcomes gives the enemy the opportunity to oppress a nation which is a major sign of a nation that has lost its hedge of divine protection from above.
