Ignorance of Spiritual Truths and Consequences: Part of the Devil’s Strategy

‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge’ bible says in Hosea 4:6. The devil is happy about what you don’t know so he can use it against you. If you’re ignorant of the promises of God, you cannot claim it. You must know that, He is the Lord that heals you. So that you may be sick but you know that, there is provision made for healing in God’s word. You can then say ‘you’re strong because His strength is made perfect in your weaknesses.
You must also know that, God is your protection. ‘The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are saved’ (Proverbs18:10). Somebody asked, ‘does it mean if someone is chasing me, I should run to the Lord?’ Indeed by running into the temple literally, you’re saved. Your pursuers may have to stand behind the door before they are arrested by the Holy Ghost. You can turn the battle into the spirit by laying your petition at the altar of the Most High. We must be reminded by truths of our Christian walk so that in times of trouble, we can turn to our God through His word.
If you forget that, the weapons that we fight with are not physical weapons but spiritual yet it is God that enables or empowers those weapons to defeat the enemy, you will be praying with your physical strength thinking that, how much you shout or scream determines your victory. If you don’t know that, instead of fighting the person who is provoking you physically, you channel your frustration into the spirit through intensive prayers, you are not being strategic. You defeat witchcraft spirits through this medium. You don’t fight spiritual beings physically. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers, principalities and rulers of the dark kingdom (Ephesians 6:12). So do not punch the air in frustration. Be wise and pray in the spirit.
Whatever you want, you have to say it with your mouth. If thou shall say to this mountain move..(Mark 11:23). So the spiritual truth is that, anything you want as a believer, you have to declare it with your mouth. It is the foundation of our Christianity (Saying and Believing). The devil’s wish is for you to say that, ‘when I prayed with (Proverbs 18:10) and confessed that I run into the name of the Lord, I didn’t see anything. You may not have seen anything but that is a negative confession and the devil’s way to deceive you. Confess what the scripture says. God is faithful that you wouldn’t say one thing and see another. Manifestation of what you confess takes time depending on the level of your faith. Remember, your faith backed with action manifests quickly.
Are you the kind of Christian that walks to church and walks out and has nothing to do with the study of the word and prayer? Are you that kind of Christian that likes to be fed with good preaching? Do you remember the message by the time you’re out of church or you forget? Has your duty just been to enjoy the good atmosphere, good music but without any spiritual practice outside the church? If you’re this kind, the devil can throw you asunder. For some, everything looks so well that, they have nothing to do with spiritual practices. It is a deception. Build your house on a rock so that the day the storm comes, your house will be standing. The devil has deceived many in their times of rest. People may have already labored in the Lord and can be enjoying their blessings today. Still stay alert for your enemy the adversary is roaring seeking you to devour (1 Peter 5:8)
If you have not made spiritual sacrifices yet, and life is good today, don’t take the moment for fun. Your test is yet to come. It is the reason people are struck down once in life and they remain down forever. They lacked spiritual awareness and the devil have been deceiving them all along that they were fine. The devil doesn’t touch Christians but their position exposes them. The devil may not bother with attacks upon attacks. But it is dangerous to remain in coldness and not seek warmth. You can die in your coldness.
Do you know that, the greatest joy of the devil is to see Christians divided? He knows what division can cause in the church. It is being used as a major weapon against Christianity today. Anything that involves two or more people by nature, is complex to handle. People are of diverse opinions. For some if their suggestions are not taken, they can get offended. They must always have the last word. The sheer act of breaking fellowship due to unacceptance of opinion is selfish, satanic and control by the enemy’s spirit. It is mockery for us who know the truth to allow the devil to divide us. Yet because we are human in nature, these things can happen if we do not control them. We duly know that division does not foster progress but the devil will let the victim dwell on the reason more and that is where Satan’s act of deception comes in. Something you know you cannot do without but you end up losing it. Or something you need to protect yet you lost it. It is deception. If you knew, why did it go?
The devil’s plan is to make sure he frustrates you to a point until you’re discouraged. Persons have quitted Christianity due to hardships. Others came to seek refuge and they did not find. The devil have made people believe that, Christianity is meat and drink. That Christianity promises honey so once they come to God, their problems must cease. In other words, ‘Can these magnitude of problems be God?’ Some Christians do ask. All these things are the schemes and devices of the devil to cause you to fallout yet in the midst of the situation, you do not see. The strategy of the devil is for you not to see. Once you see, fight against it and prevail, you are a victor.
