The ‘divine hedge’ we have learnt is a “supernatural wall of protection that the enemy is not able to penetrate until the hedge is broken”
Bible philosophers have further researched that, the ‘divine hedge of protection is conditional’. It suggested examples as ‘abortionist, sodomites, Hollywood, Politicians and drug dealers. What does these further means?
Abortionist is one who prematurely gets rid of an unborn child which is wickedness and a grievous sin just as physical murder. When Cain murdered his brother Abel, he opened the door to sin and torture- a sign of the broken hedge of protection. If Cain had not gone to the extent of murdering his brother due to jealousy and the faint reason of God not accepting his sacrifice, he could have kept his hedge of protection. God forgave his sins eventually but Cain lived under the curse of the sword and the earth (Genesis 4:10-16) even though God placed a mark that protected him from being murdered. Further more Matthew 5:21 warns that anyone who kills is subject to judgement.
Sodomites are popularly known for sin of wickedness that provoked God’s anger and judgment. Today, sexual sins such as lesbianism, homosexuals and indiscriminate sex activities falling out of the divine plan of God through illegal marriage can take away the supernatural wall of protection. Communities filled with human beings that lacks mercy to spare lives but exacts cruelty lacks the divine protection of God. Indiscriminate childbearing through fornication can be the Sodomites of today.
Filming or acting is creativity given to man by God considering God was an artist by His act of creating the world, using film to perpetuate evil can remove God’s divine supernatural hedge of protection. How? Love scenes in movies portrayed to be unreal yet giving room for real love mates behind the curtains or scenes can be evil. Sex with an unmarried partner can remove the supernatural hedge of protection. Film actresses and actors acting with the mindset not to resolve issues but rip apart relationships can open the door to the removal of the supernatural wall of protection. Persons acting to promote Satanic activities without praying for cover or genuine repentance for such identities of people can be seen to be perpetuating evil than solving demonic crisis in families, country or community and can incur God’s wrath.
Politics can be bloody when it does not use its mandate to promote right but evil. For instance, of shirking responsibilities that leaves communities impoverished and lacking basic infrastructure to develop their lives can be evil and this can take the divine protection of God from the Christian politician. For the unchristen politician, he becomes a perpetual tool in the hands of the enemy, dwells in sin and does not even experience that wall of protection at all. Policies that inadvertently seeks to put communities under grave suffering incurs God’s mercies for his people but His wrath goes against evil perpetrators.
As much as God has given wisdom to men to produce drugs to save lives, others are propounding evil drugs that can kill, destroy or waste away lives. Addicts have taken drugs that have worsened their cases such as marijuana, over dwelling on pain killers that have left others with serious side effects. Producers of such destructive drugs sets themselves up to be exposed to attacks of the devil much as well as their consumers. One drug in question is cigarette which has the inscription boldly displayed ‘it is harmful to health’. Livers have been tampered and lost functionality whiles some kidneys are gone. Simply one who produces drugs to promote good health naturally invites the divine protection of God whereas the ones meant for evil invites the destructive weapons of the devil to deteriorate their lives.
