The Entrepreneur’s Prayer
Father,
You are the giver of wisdom, the source of opportunity, and the One who gives power to get wealth. Your Word says in Deuteronomy 8:18 that it is You who gives the ability to produce. So today, I acknowledge that my ideas, my strength, my creativity, and my capacity all come from You.
Lord, I refuse to build without You.
Psalm 127:1 says unless You build the house, the builders labor in vain. I do not want vain effort. I want purposeful progress. Establish the work of my hands. Let what I build stand, not just start.
Give me clarity where there is confusion.
James 1:5 promises wisdom to those who ask. I ask for wisdom in strategy, in hiring, in partnerships, in investments, and in timing. Protect me from rushed decisions and emotional choices. Help me to discern opportunities that look good but are not God.
Strengthen my inner man.
Business carries pressure. Responsibility carries weight. But Philippians 4:13 reminds me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Strengthen me when fatigue whispers doubt. Guard my mind from anxiety. Teach me to work diligently without living in worry.
Give me integrity in every transaction.
Proverbs 11:1 says dishonest scales are an abomination to You, but a just weight is Your delight. Let my business be marked by fairness, transparency, and honor. Let customers trust my word. Let employees feel valued. Let my reputation reflect Your righteousness.
Release favor upon my work.
Psalm 90:17 says, “Establish the work of our hands.” Establish it, Lord. Let doors open that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Connect me with the right people. Align me with divine partnerships. Position my business in places of influence.
Teach me stewardship.
Luke 16:10 says he who is faithful in little will be faithful in much. Help me to manage small resources wisely so that I am ready for greater increase. Protect me from greed. Guard me from pride. Remind me that increase is a responsibility, not just a reward.
Give me resilience in adversity.
Proverbs 24:16 says the righteous fall seven times and rise again. When setbacks come, let me rise. When delays stretch me, let me grow. When mistakes happen, let me learn quickly and move forward with humility.
Anoint my ideas.
Fill me with creativity like You filled Bezalel with skill and wisdom (Exodus 31:3). Let innovation flow. Let solutions come easily. Help me to see gaps in the market and opportunities others overlook.
Guard my heart.
Proverbs 4:23 tells me to guard my heart, for out of it flow the issues of life. Do not let success corrupt me. Do not let comparison distract me. Keep my motives pure. Let my business serve purpose, not ego.
Bless my team and those connected to me.
Let my growth create opportunity for others. Let salaries be paid on time. Let families be sustained. Let my business become a channel of provision and hope.
And above all, Lord, let my success bring You glory.
Matthew 5:16 says let your light shine before men so they may glorify the Father. If You increase me, keep me humble. If You elevate me, keep me grounded. If You expand me, keep me generous.
I surrender my plans to You.
Proverbs 16:3 says commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established. I commit every strategy, contract, product, and vision into Your hands.
Lead me.
Guide me.
Correct me.
Establish me.
May my business grow with oil, wisdom, and favor.
May it be profitable, ethical, and impactful.
May it endure beyond seasons and trends.
And may everything I build
reflect the One who gave me the vision.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
