It could have been Devastating but God’s Love Superseded All

Viewing God through the lens of love shifts the focus from strict rules and judgment to grace, deep connection, and purpose. It redefines the divine not as a distant enforcer, but as an ever-present, compassionate force of radical acceptance, healing, and light-Source: Purpose driven

God has a Soft Heart

Love covers multitudes of sins (1Peter4:8). When men love women, they pretend not to see the wrongs of those women. Men are often soft towards the women they love. Even when those men have to put their feet down, they do it cautiously not to hurt the women they love.

In the same way, God would have struck you and me the next minute but when He looks at us with His eyes of love, he restrains his actions. Moses said to God, ‘what will people say of you if you eliminate the disobedient Israelites? They will say you took them out of Egypt to destroy them (Exodus 32). When God looks at the sacrifice of sending down his Son to die so that through His shed blood, our sins can be forgiven, it was an agreement, it was a done deal. In fact it was sealed. God couldn’t have gone back or gone against an established covenant.

It is the reason in serious moments when God has to exact judgment, he holds back his hands. For instance, soiling the temple of the living God by sinning with your body can be one of the sins that are difficult to forgive even among men. How much God? But when God looks at the blood, he sees His love which begins to argue for that sinner. So the laws of God or the rules of his word can be strict towards people who go against it but God’s love, gives a second chance.

There is a popular saying that, ‘God is not standing out there with stick in his hands wanting to hit you because you made a mistake. His divine grace overrides his judgment over our lives.

The love of God is so deep, it’s so wide and it’s so high. In other words, you cannot measure the love of God towards you. Someone can be condemned to death by firing squad but his fate can change by the following morning. That is God’s divine grace for you. Someone can have deep connection with you if the things you discuss are uncommon. For instance married couples have deep connection because they discuss in secret. We have deep connection with God due to the love between us, made possible by his dying on the cross and shedding his blood for forgiveness of our sins.

No greater love than this that a man should lay down his life for his fellow man (John 15:13). It is only love that makes a man go the extra mile. Abraham loved God and that was why he wanted to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. In other words, Abraham had a ‘tête-à-tête’ with God. The rapport between people can be very deep.

Jesus had a greater purpose of coming to shed his blood to set men free from the bondage of sin. Love must be on divine purpose. Our desire to be together must go beyond just likeness for each other to achieving significance. For instance if on your flight, you met someone who was on the same mission as you, what you share is exciting and your friendship bonds well. Your discussions are focused and always well centered because you met on purpose. Jesus purpose on earth was centered on delivering people.

Jesus death for man puts us and God on a common purpose. We cannot do things the way we like it. If someone lays his life down for you, you don’t do things without considering the feelings of that fellow. We must be mindful of our actions because of the extreme love God has for us. When we stay out of sin therefore, we honor God. If we stay in sin, we make the work on the cross fallible and a dent in the unfading love that God showed towards mankind through his Son, Jesus Christ.

God’s love for mankind is divine, it’s holy and it’s righteous. Jesus did something that brought us close to Him. For this cause, Jesus feels your pain (Hebrews 4:15KJV). God considers that, we are human beings and can make mistakes. And so God has not put himself in a position where he sets rules not minding that man is prone to mistakes. He is God but he deals with us with our limitations in mind. This is why when you sin, it does not surprise God. God knows you can sin and He does not separate Himself from your sins. He is associated with you, ready to help you to come out of that sin. There is always a chance to be better as a Christian because the provision has been made by God.

Know that God is always with you. How do you know this? Believe that you have what it takes to be successful as a Christian. Belief is based on your faith that God empowers you to do. The good things you do, empowers the presence of God around you to do. God is sympathetic of your situation. When God promised Abraham, he swore by his own name (Genesis 22:16) as a sign of His totality that nothing can change it as far as He was God. God is radical with his love towards you. God’s love is fundamental. God means it when he says he has accepted you. He accepted you because of the covenant of His blood.

God’s love for you is healing your finances. It is the reason you see his hand of provision in your darkest financial hour. Don’t let the devil frighten you with that pain. God is healing you. Something should be telling you that, that experience cannot kill you. Be hopeful that, because God loves you, he wouldn’t let anything evil happen to you. Don’t think negative about your situation therefore. Be positive and God will bring your healing to pass. Healing is one thing that demonstrates God’s love because it delivers the individual from suffering. God is healing your water and healing your home. The water and your problems at home have seen God’s intervention. Be assured. You can see light at the end of the tunnel because God loves you. You have a witness within your spirit that something is going to change for the better. He is showing you the tip-end to provide hope. Be comforted, for light means deliverance.
